| Influenced
early on by his father, renowned guitar teacher Victor
Litz, Brian started playing guitar when he was four
years old. By the age of five, he was performing at
student recitals and at the old movie theater in Old
Town Gaithersburg. Growing up he accompanied his
father on private music lessons and to schools where he
assisted in tuning instruments and learned more about
the technical side of the music business. His love of
classical guitar music was encouraged and blossomed
under his father’s guidance. |
| Brian
comes from a long family tradition of music; not only
did his father play, but his grandfather and uncles
were also accomplished musicians. His father’s music
store, Victor Litz Music in Gaithersburg, Maryland,
brought a wealth of learning opportunities to Brian
from other students and teachers. |
